About
Blesii creates handcrafted wooden toys designed for slow, thoughtful play.
Rooted in simple forms and natural materials, the toys are made to invite imagination, presence, and meaningful connection. Blesii believe childhood deserves space — space to explore, to wonder, and to create without rush or noise.
Each Blesii piece is carefully handcrafted from natural wood and finished with non-toxic paints and oils. Because every toy is made by hand, no two pieces are exactly alike. Subtle differences in grain, colour, and texture are part of the wood’s character and the craft itself. These variations are not imperfections, but reminders that each piece is made slowly and with care.
Blesii's toys are designed to grow with children and feel at home in thoughtfully lived spaces. They are objects of play, quiet companions, and pieces that hold memory rather than clutter.
The Brief
Blesii needed a product designer who could work at the intersection of child development, craft manufacturing, and considered aesthetics. The brief was to build a catalogue of wooden toys from scratch — objects that would encourage open-ended play, support early motor development, and feel genuinely at home in a thoughtfully designed space.
Every design decision had to serve three things simultaneously: the child who plays with it, the parent who chooses it, and the artisan who makes it by hand. That tension between developmental function, visual restraint, and manufacturing reality shaped every form that came out of this project.
